The CP2621-0000 is an industrial computer terminal manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-level visualization and control, it combines a display, a processor platform, and an integrated touchscreen so operators can issue commands directly on the production floor without an external PC. A single housing encloses both the computing electronics and the front display, allowing the unit to be mounted on enclosures or support arms in automated production lines. This integrated arrangement also reduces the need to route separate display and computer connections through the machine.
A nominal input of 24 VDC lets the CP2621-0000 connect to the same low-voltage power buses that feed sensors and controllers. Network integration is handled through one Ethernet port that supports 10/100BASE-T and a dedicated EtherCAT port for a real-time fieldbus segment. The front panel has IP65 protection, so the screen and keys resist dust penetration and directed water spray, while the rear section remains at IP20 for convection cooling. Two USB connectors support the USB 2.0 standard, providing peripheral access for service keyboards, backup drives, or barcode readers. A separate flash card slot accommodates one removable storage medium for recipe files or other machine data. The projected-capacitive touchscreen registers simultaneous touches, and its multi-finger capability supports gesture-based navigation. Classic serial devices can also be connected through the single RS232 port.
The panel withstands mechanical shocks of up to 5 G for 30 ms, helping the electronics tolerate impacts on gantries or mobile equipment. Operation is permitted at relative humidity levels as high as 95% without condensation, allowing installation in humid industrial environments. The unit has an overall mass of 6.0 kg, which reduces strain on support arms and hinge fittings during installation. Its enclosure still provides sufficient space for the integrated computing platform, display assembly, and internal power supply. The protected front surface supports installation near production processes, while the ventilated rear section should remain shielded from direct exposure to dust and water.
