Product Description:
The CP2607-0000 is a 7-inch panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Mounted on a control cabinet or machine frame, this unit combines visualization, control, and network connectivity in a single enclosure. This arrangement allows it to function as a local human-machine interface for industrial automation tasks such as recipe entry, alarm acknowledgment, and real-time process monitoring.
Operation is powered by 24 VDC, a common control-cabinet rail voltage that simplifies wiring. The aluminum front is sealed to IP65, so dust and water jets cannot reach the display or capacitive sensors when the panel is installed flush with a door. A single RJ-45 socket supports 10/100BASE-T Ethernet, providing standard network bandwidth for PLC communication. Two Type-A receptacles conform to the USB 2.0 standard, enabling users to attach keyboards, scanners, or flash drives. Internal assemblies withstand shocks up to 5 G; this rating helps limit downtime when the HMI is used on stamping presses or mobile equipment that transmits sudden impacts to the mounting surface.
Nonvolatile data logging is handled through one microSD card slot, giving operators a removable medium for recipe storage or operating-system backups. Deterministic fieldbus traffic is supported natively through one EtherCAT port, allowing the panel to exchange cyclical data with distributed Beckhoff I/O without additional gateways. The projected-capacitive display accepts multi-finger touch input, so pinch-to-zoom or swipe navigation can be enabled even when thin industrial gloves are worn. Legacy peripherals connect through the rear 9-pin D-sub connector, which carries an RS-232 signal. With a total mass of 1.6 kg, the unit imposes minimal mechanical load on swing-arm mounts, and the electronics withstand 30 ms shock pulses while the IP20 rear housing protects against accidental finger contact.
