The EL7332 belongs to the EL series. This EtherCAT terminal enables the direct operation of two DC motors. The speed for this terminal is preset by 16-bit value from the automation unit. The output stage for this terminal is protected against short circuit and overload. The LEDs on the unit enables quick local diagnosis. The EL7332 has a single input and output. The input is an end position per channel, while the output is a DC motor per channel. The supply voltage for the EL7332 is 24 V DC, with the output current of a maximum of 1 A per channel. The performance increase can be done via ZB8610 fan cartridge. The fan offers better cooling and ventilation.

The EL7332 has distributed clocks and travel distance control. It also has 500 V electrical insulation. The EL7332 weighs approximately 50 g and has an IP 20 protection class. This terminal has CE and UL approvals, and its vibrations conform to EN 60068-2-6. The EL7332 has a PWM clock frequency of 32 kHz with a 180° phase shift each. The duty factor for this terminal is between 0% to 100%. ZB85xx is an add-on accessory for the EL7332. The ZB85xx are shield busbar with mounting rail holder and shield busbar clamps.
