Crevis Slice Modules are compact, DIN-rail I/O “slices” built to be combined into a modular station, with each slice providing a specific signal interface while sharing a common bus connection and electronics power.
The lineup includes analog input slices for current and voltage signals such as 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, ±10 V, and 0–5 V, with typical multi-channel designs offering 12- or 14-bit resolution and fast update behavior across all channels. Digital input slices are offered in multiple point densities and wiring styles, supporting sink or source logic at common field voltages (5 VDC, 12/24 VDC, and 48 VDC) as well as AC input versions for 110 VAC and 220 VAC. Electrical design details include photocoupler-based isolation between I/O and logic, onboard channel/status indication LEDs, and defined input filtering/delay characteristics to improve noise immunity. The system is intended for industrial cabinet environments with IP20 protection, DIN-rail mounting, and specified limits for temperature, humidity, shock/vibration, and EMC compliance, along with safety practices that require de-energizing before wiring and operating in a controlled (pollution degree 2) environment.
