Product Description:
Kollmorgen's ST-7188 from the Crevis Slice Module series provides a compact power distribution module for industrial automation setups.
The module functions as both a 0VDC and 24VDC power distribution platform that separates electricity into two groups with four distribution points for each group, making eight in total. Every group can power up to 10 amps of components, which makes it suitable for different discrete I/O applications. The ST-7188 design features pass-through technology to let power flow through the module and power any number of additional modules in a chain arrangement. The system becomes easier to expand and wire because you don't need extra power cables to run every part. Because it does not have a bus address or bus ID type, the module integrates effortlessly into different systems without bus addressing interference. The device mounts on a DIN rail, and you can set it up either vertically or horizontally for installation flexibility in different control panels. Despite its small dimensions of 12 mm and 50-gram weight, the module distributes power efficiently without taking up much space.
GE Intelligent Platforms includes the ST-7188 in their RSTi Distributed I/O line and enables it to work directly with Proficy Machine Edition on various system architectures at once. The module functions under random industrial situations between -20°C to 60°C in areas that follow system requirements for specific I/O set-ups. Engineers select ST-7188 when they want to simplify setup procedures and cut down wire connections while achieving a tidy control cabinet setup. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
