The ST-3214 module is an analog current input module designed for industrial automation applications, allowing for precise measurement and control through its various features and robust design, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The module has 12-bit resolution, providing accurate data acquisition, perfect for processes needing high levels of precision, as it translates these analog signals into a 16-bit integer (two's complement) data format to be processed.
The ST-3214 module features a PROFINET network interface integrated with Proficy Machine Edition software, facilitating easy integration into existing industrial networks, and enabling efficient data transmission and control. The module is built with an integrated slide and locking design, along with a simple push spring clamp terminal facilitating quick and secure installation and maintenance through user-friendly design elements. Supporting both 2 or 3 wire sensor connections, the wiring, which requires no tools, streamlines setup while reducing overall installation time through efficient sensor integration. The module includes 4 red/green indicators for channel status and 1 red/green indicator to show module status, providing immediate visual feedback on the operational state of each input and the system as a whole.
