Product Description

The AKDI-P01206-NBCC-I000 servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen is designed to be operated only in industrial environments. The drive supports plug-and-play motor setup with the manufacturer's motors and multiple feedback devices. It should be installed in a machine or plant that strictly fulfills the requirements of the regional directives. The unit must be touched by the user only after he or she discharges himself/herself electrostatically. Moreover, the device must be free of shocks at the time of transportation. The drive must have unimpeded ventilation and it should be operated only in the temperature range between 0°C and 40 °C. The unit’s continuous output power is 4000 Watts and its peak time is 5 seconds. The maximum regen duty cycle of the servo drive is 15% and its DC bus capacitance is 2460 microfarads. The drive features a rated output current of 12 Arms with +/-3% tolerance and a peak output current of 30 A (+/-3%). Its capacitors have an absorption energy of 160 W at 120 V supply voltage and 55 W at 240 V supply with +/-20% tolerance. The servo drive is equipped with an STO function to offer a functional safe stop of the motion system. In order to achieve this functional safety, the safety circuit wiring should fulfill the safety requirements of IEC 60204, ISO 12100, and ISO 13849 specifications. The unit should be installed in a site that is free of conductive or corrosive materials. The drive should be assembled near its power supply module. It should be installed inside a closed control cabinet in vertical orientation. The drive is capable of controlling the holding brake of the associated motor. Care should be taken when installing and servicing the drive; the power supply should be turned off before the process.
