The Bosch Rexroth MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB2 is a MDD series servo motor. It is made with permanent magnets. The motor supports electronic commutation. Primary components of the motor include a laminated core with magnets, rotor shaft, encoder, windings, and optional blocking brake. The motor is brushless motor. Due to the use of life-time lubricated bearings, the motor does not require maintenance. The temperature of the motor windings is monitored through an integrated sensor. This feature helps to minimize the probability of overload damage. Highly synchronous motor operation is achieved by the use of sinusoidal application of current with high motor feedback resolution. The MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB2 motor supports digital servo feedback. The motor is typically deployed in combination with a compatible drive controller. Centering diameter of the motor is 130 millimeters. The motor blocking brake is rated for 40 Nm.

The brake is designed to operate i.e. release the motor shaft after application of a 24 Volts DC signal. The shaft on the motor includes a keyway according to DIN 6885-1.
