The Bosch Rexroth MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is a digital AC servo motor. It is called a servo motor because it supports digital servo feedback. A sensor on the motor, known as an encoder, measures different parameters such as motor speed and torque. This information is continuously sent to the drive controller.
