The Bosch Rexroth MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PA1 is a 3000 RPM industrial servo motor. It is made with permanent magnets and supports electronic commutation. A brushless design and use of life-time lubricated bearings makes MDD motors maintenance-free. The motor housing is completely sealed. In addition, the connections for the motor power cable and feedback cable comply with IP65 protection category. As a result, MDD motors can be used directly within the working area of the connected machine. A temperature sensor integrated into the motor windings helps to prevent overload damage. The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PA1 has a standard housing that operators can use with either surface cooling or natural convection. MDD motors support optional blocking brakes. The blocking brake makes it possible to clamp or hold the output shaft at a standstill. This means that the axis is brought to a safe standstill when power is off.

The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110PA1 is equipped with a 6.5 Nm rated blocking brake. The output shaft for MDD motors is available in two different designs: as a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections and shafts with keyways for form-fitting shaft-hub connections.
