The MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-H1 is a 3 phase induction motor created by Rexroth Indramat. This motor consists of two major parts: the rotor and stator. The stator is complete with slots that create a 3 phase winding circuit which can then be connected to an AC 3 phase source.The MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-H1 winding is arranged in a way that produces a single rotating magnetic field when the power source of the unit is switched on. The rotor is made up of a cylindrical laminated core, complete with parallel slots that are equipped with carrying conductors. The conductors are made from heavy copper or with aluminum bars fitted into each slot. The end rings are used to short circuit the conductors. The slots are slightly skewed to help to reduce noise and can also help to prevent the stalling of the motor.

The stator of the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-H1 motor is made of overlapping winding offset. The offset is at an angle of 120 degrees. The connection of the primary winding to an AC source will establish a rotating magnetic field which then rotates at a synchronous speed.
