Product Description

The Rexroth Indramat AC drive system with its modular design allows users to operate many different drive controllers, all fitted on a unique power supply which will meet your system design. During its  3-phase AC voltage rectification, the HVE provides a DC bus voltage without regulation for the drive controllers. In order to dissipate heat, the HVE units use bleeder resistors.

When shutting down or malfunction in the inner drive electronics, it is possible to use the short circuit bus if breaking motors (with permanents magnets) is required. When a mains malfunction happens, the DC bus voltage will supply the control voltage (in regenerative mode). For the power supply so as the control voltage, the HVE units can be connected to main voltages of 3xAC 380...480V (+/- 10%); 50...60 Hz(+/2 2Hz).

Using the HVE04.2-W075N unit connected to 3 x AC 380 V, enables you working with a continuous DC bus power of 33 or 70 kW and get a regenerated maximum energy of 250 W so as connected to 3 x AC 480 V, it is also likely working with 42 or 90 kW, getting 250 kWmax as well, the DC bus Voltage will be between 530 and 670 V (+/- 10 %) and the continuous bleeder power will be 2.5 and the losses per uninterrupted kW DC bus should be 6W.

In order to implement circuit breakers to direct main connections, a maximum fusing of 160A can be reached with the HVE04.2-W075N, in case of power protection with switches, it is recommended to use a Rexroth power circuit breaker.

The HVE04.2-W075N can be grounded with neutral points or phases without load-controlled isolation. If needed, working with ungrounded mains is also possible but there is a high possibility to get over-voltages.

Using this unit makes working with motors on maximum continuous mechanical power of 60kW an easy and efficient task.
