Product Description

The HVE04.2-W075 power supply unit offers the connected drive controllers with an unregulated DC bus voltage. This module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth can be used with one or more drive controllers from them at a time. It is integrated with a contactor that helps to shut down the power supply. The product is compact enough to be used in limited spaces. The power of the device is based on the power voltage. The permissible relative humidity of the unit is a maximum of 95%. The module can store 144W energy for one mF of auxiliary capacitance when it is connected to 3 x 400VAC. The power supply unit comes with a one-year warranty.

The DC bus of the device supports the connection of up to three additional capacitance modules. These capacitance modules must be placed near the drive controller with maximum performance. The control cabinet in which the unit is installed must have air circulation so that the module is not damaged because of high temperatures. The power supply unit has a width of 250mm. It has a continuous DC bus power of 90kW, a peak DC bus power of 270kW for 0.3 seconds, and a short-term DC bus power of 180kW when it is used with a GLD20 DC bus choke and connected to a 3 x 480VAC mains supply.

The control voltage bus of the power supply unit should be connected only using the specified cable from the manufacturer. The device features a maximum fusing of 160A for the mains supply of its power section. It has a mains current rating of 80A without the DC bus choke and a rating of 120A with the DC bus voltage at 400V and 480V respectively.
