Controlling the operations of electrical motors with Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive controllers ensures smooth motion control. The drive controllers are equipped with a control section and a power section which can be ordered separately or as a whole. They are used in machine tools and food packaging and processing machines.

The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-XP-FW is a control section in Bosch Rexroth’s CSH series in the ADVANCED control section range. With its standard encoder evaluation interface, it supports encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. The interface’s connection point is the D-Sub type and has 15 poles. Some of the encoders that can be connected to the control section via this interface are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder. The control section’s typical inrush current is 4A, while its maximum pulse width is 100ms. It can be operated at varying switching frequencies of 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz.  Communication between the CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-XP-FW and other components of the IndraDrive drive system is made possible by its parallel interface communication module. It contains 16 galvanically isolated digital inputs and 16 digital outputs obtained similarly. These inputs and outputs are arranged in groups with four inputs and four outputs each. The control section has a compact size that allows it to be mounted and dismounted effortlessly; however, this should not exceed 20 times. It is a single-axis type and comes fitted with a standard user panel for commissioning and running diagnostics.
