Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive platform integrates highly functional drive and motion control components such as servo motors, converters, and drive controllers. These drive controllers are used to control electrical motors and monitor their operation. They are composed of power sections and control sections such as those in the CSH series.

The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is one of the control section models in the Bosch Rexroth CSH series. It is a configurable version in the ADVANCED control section range which can be operated at switching frequencies of 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. Using its parallel interface module, it communicates with other components of the drive system. The module has 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, assembled into groups with four inputs and four outputs. The digital inputs are reverse polarity-protected while the digital outputs are short-circuit-proof. Encoders with a supply voltage of 12V can be connected to this CSH model through its standard encoder evaluation interface. They include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface.

With its Safe Motion module, the CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW can be operated with safety-related functions like safe door locking, safe direction, safe communication, and safe parking axis. The control section also has an encoder evaluation interface that supports encoders with a 5V supply voltage. It can be commissioned with the user-friendly IndraWorks software for PC or its integrated standard control panel. The control panel has four prominent keys, and a single-line display, with which functions like setting the drive address, accessing the error memory, and establishing the position data reference can be carried out.
