It functions as the central DC link source for ACOPOS drive systems, converting the plant’s mains into a stabilized bus that feeds multiple servo inverters and braking units. By providing shared energy storage, the unit supports regenerative operation, simplifies wiring, and maintains voltage stability across distributed motion axes in automated machinery. The module is intended for cabinet mounting where high continuous power density and controlled inrush behavior are necessary.

It delivers a continuous output of 120 kW, giving headroom for several axis groups under simultaneous load. The housing carries an industrial IP20 rating, so it must reside inside a protected enclosure but still allows tool-free access to the two plug-in module slots and service terminals.
