Product Description

Many global industries rely on compact yet powerful servo motors. Kollmorgen/Pacific Scientific has been producing and supplying these motors. The S30 series brushless servo motors are an example of compact yet powerful servo motors for control applications. Motors under the S30 series all have 6-pole synchronous servo motors. For power, neodymium-iron-boron magnets are built-in for maximum torque. Torques range from 1.9NM to 6.6NM for the S30 series. These motors have a reliable bearing system with an “O” ring design assure longer life for the motors.

As with others in the series, the S30 servo motors are built for speed and position control applications. The motors do not require too much space with their compact features. The series operate in a range of 240V-480V and speeds of up to 3,900 RPM

The S30 series can be paired with other primary and secondary feedback devices. Operators and users can integrate the series with other control components. Additional protection is provided by an overtemperature-protection thermistor. For easier use, the motors have both English or metric dimensions. A high-voltage insulation rating further adds protection. Users can take advantage of the the optional shaft configurations for flexibility. For the S31GNAA-RNNM-00, a 6-pole neodymium motor with a NEMA 34/1 frame size and stack length are standard. Shafting and mounting for the S31GNAA-RNNM-00 are not factory assigned, but are instead made of a NEMA frame. The motor has a 24V DC brake and a primary feedback size of 21 frameless resolver. It has no secondary feedback and no shaft seal. It has a shaft and mounting following a NEMA frame. For terminations, the S31GNAA-RNNM-00 has motor mounted MS connector.
