Redi-Line Electric Generators are rugged electromechanical DC-to-AC power conversion units designed to run tools, appliances, lighting, and other onboard loads from one or more deep-cycle batteries as long as the load stays within the generator’s nameplate rating.
The series is built to deliver true sine-wave AC output and includes demand-start circuitry that only runs the generator when an AC load is present, helping extend battery life. Models are offered for common mobile DC systems (12, 24, and 36 VDC nominal classes) with continuous output ratings spanning roughly 500 to 1600 watts and surge capability up to about 1.5× continuous for starting loads. The generators are designed for flexible installation, can be mounted in virtually any orientation, and require correct battery selection, fuse protection close to the battery, and direct battery-cable returns (not chassis grounding) to maintain performance and prevent damage. The product line is specified for wide ambient operation (approximately -30°F to 130°F), uses a sturdy steel housing, and includes options such as a GFI outlet on applicable models.
