Product Description

Designed to operate at a rated current of 3.3 amperes and a rated voltage of 2.96 VDC, the P21SRXB-LSS-NS-02 is a UNIPOLAR Stepper Motor. This model comes equipped with a steel gear extension fitted with the drive shaft. The hardened steel gear incorporated in this model makes it cable of transmitting the torque to the host machine with high efficiency. The P21SRXB-LSS-NS-02 motor is contained by a sealed frame that is designed according to the specifications defined for NEMA 23 motors. The shaft of this motor is supported by two high-quality bearings: one at the driven end side and the second one at the non-driven end side. These bearings are designed to serve up to 10,000 hours without failure or breakdown.

 Unlike ordinary NEMA 23 motors, the P21SRXB-LSS-NS-02 is a maintenance-free model as it has no bushes and none of its moving parts require greasing. This motor is often found in industrial applications as a preferred solution for achieving tangential linear or rotary motor. The maximum speed that can be achieved by this motor in its default configuration is 1500. Here, it is important to understand that the DC stepper motors are intended to use for holding torque and not for speed.

With this motor, you will be able to achieve a reasonable holding torque of 116 N-m. this model comes with 8 lead configurations and the user can reconfigure it to operate as a 6-lead unipolar, 4 lead series bipolar or 4 lead parallel bipolar motors. The P21SRXB-LSS-NS-02 weighs around 0.68 kg only and its required initial torque or detent torque is much lower than its counterparts available on the market. This motor is made by Pacific Scientific, who is now owned by Kollmorgen.
