Product Description

The P21NSXC-LSS-NS-07 is a 1.75 A, 64V Stepper Motor from PACIFIC SCIENTIFIC. This motor is designed to operate at a maximum speed of 1500 revolutions per minute. The P21NSXC-LSS-NS-07 comes from the POWERMAX II series of motors that were introduced by Pacific Scientific. Currently, PACIFIC SCIENTIFIC is manufacturing this product. This size of this single-stack motor is a complaint with the NEMA 23. Being a NEMA type motor the P21NSXC-LSS-NS-07 comes with a standard NEMA mounting flange and can be bolted to the host machine directly.

 The faceplate size of this motor is 58.4×58.5 mm and it can take as many as 200 steps per revolution. in each step the shaft of the motor rotates by an angle of 1.8 °. In parallel connection mode, this motor can produce a maximum holding torque of 114 oz-in. whereas, the required detent torque for the shaft breakaway of the motor is 4 oz.-in. the P21NSXC-LSS-NS-07 is a 2-phase DC motor and it can be acquired in parallel, serial or unipolar connector configuration. For maximum torque, you supposed to stick with bipolar parallel configuration.

The housing of this motor is of standard type and it cannot be deployed in gaseous environments. This motor is offered with a pair of maintenance-free bearings which does not require any greasing throughout the service cycle. The P21NSXC-LSS-NS-07 is a hybrid type motor and it is available in a variety of different configurations. the thermal resistance value for this model is 5.5 oC/watt and its rotor inertia remain around 0.0017 oz-in-S2. This motor does not require any external cooling provided that the ambient temperature in the close vicinity of the motor remains less than 40 oC.
