Product Description

The P21NSXC-LNN-NS-02 is a stepper motor from Pacific Scientific. It is one of the motors that feature their POWERMAX II technology which is a feature that sets the motor apart from its competitors. This is the feature that sets the standard for all NEMA 23 step motors when it comes to the motor’s performance. Two-inch steppers with this feature provide up to 253 oz-in of holding torque and are the most powerful in their class.

While the P21NSXC-LNN-NS-02 step motor is powerful thanks to the POWERMAX II feature, the manufacturers were able to provide it at an economical cost. They were able to do so without sacrificing on features and so these motors carry the whole nine yards. The motor features high-temperature insulation, long-life bearings and some of the best magnet materials.

The octagonal shape of this step motor makes assembly quite easy. It is made with an all in one molded stator assembly and has an end bell that runs cool and therefore enhances the life of the encoder. The windings are encapsulated in a high tech polymer which is also used in the electrical connector. The standard option features 8 flying leads.

POWERMAX II is not the only special technology utilized in the making of the P21NSXC-LNN-NS-02. It also features Sigmax Technology which helps to provide the motor’s ability to provide the highest amounts of acceleration and also the highest amounts of torque. The motor is capable of withstanding high axial loads, high radial loads and has the ability to supper a number of different shaft modifications. There is the possibility for optional rear shaft extensions and optional encoders as well.
