Pacific Scientific Company is a world leader in the production of state-of-the-art hybrid stepper motors. They range from POWERPAC, POWERMAX II, and Conventional Hybrid Stepper Motors. The P21NSHS-LNS-NS-02 is in the POWERMAX II hybrid standard motors. It features a special winding type, construction, and termination. The rotor type is conventional and comes in a NEMA mounting. What makes it a preferable motor is the NEMA 23 frame size that fits in just any machine out there. It also comes with a no feedback encoder option and a factory assigned sequence number which are enough for a standard motor.

The P21NSHS-LNS-NS-02 features a single shaft configuration and a special shaft modification. The shaft in this Pacific Scientific motor has the largest diameter which enables it to withstand high radial and axial loads at a go. Additionally, it supports many shaft modifications, such as special or flat. In this case, it is a special modification. Thanks to the oversized 30mm bearings, the fatigue life is significantly improved. Are you worried about high temperatures ruining your motor? Worry not! The P21NSHS-LNS-NS-02 comes with a class B insulation which can withstand high temperatures.

This standard hybrid motor has a large holding torque range. It ranges from 77 to 116 oz-in giving you the much-needed power for smooth rotation. Again, the shaft is extended, which provides secure engagement. Although there is some flux leakage, production of torque is kept at standard level. The Pacific Scientific P21NSHS-LNS-NS-02 provides you with an array of modification abilities. At its least, you can tailor the inertia, speed, and acceleration of the motor in a very economical way.
