The P Series Powermax II Hybrid Step Motor P21NRXB-LNS-NS-07 is designed by Pacific Scientific.  With a quick and precise positioning and exceptional holding torque, this high-performance, brushless step motor provides a defined and extremely cost-effective motion control. Model number of motors symbolizes its type, size, number of stacks, mounting, construction, termination, winding type, rotor type, shaft configuration/modification, encoder option and sequence number.

It is economical and high-performance alternative to normal NEMA 23 step motors. Holding torque is one of the leading specifications when comparing motors. With holding torque 42 to 214 oz-in. (0.29 to 1.51 Nm), it can be used with wide range of drivers from different manufacturers. If the rated current is applied to your step motor at rest, the application of holding torque keeps it stationary without causing it to rotate continuously. This low mass, low inertia standard hybrid motor features additional standard windings to provide specific characteristics for your customized application needs. It features stator mounted rare earth magnets that concentrate magnetic flux at desired points between the rotor and stator.
