Product Description

Okuma is famous for its quality products like industrial brushless servo motors, brushless AC servo drives, and controllers. The company also develops a wide range of CNC control modules.

The BL-D50A model is designed and manufactured by Okuma and it assists in developing an energy-efficient motion control system. The BL brushless servo drive can be mounted or installed in the rack with sufficient room at the top and bottom of the module for heat loss. The drive uses natural air to maintain its ambient temperature (0 to +60 degree Celsius) and it must be installed at the altitude prescribed in the user manual. The model has low-loss PWM frequency and is extensively used to monitor and control the functions of the Digiplan brushless servo motor. The motor takes electrical power through the U, V, and W terminals of the drive, and the DC (-) and DC (+) terminals are used to take the input power of 24 – 48 VDC. The servo drive takes input power from the transformer and the transformer is further connected to the main AC voltage line. The BL brushless servo drive comes with built-in incremental encoder feedback that assists in controlling the speed and position of the attached servo motor.

The brushless servo drive communicates via a 4-bit absolute encoder. Several LEDs are available at the front and rear sides of the servo drive to show the status of different parameters of the drive. The model BL-D50A is fully protected against overtemperature and overvoltage. A pre-installation test should be conducted through a temporary bench-top configuration. Make sure that the servo drive module is completely functional, before putting it into operation. Wake Industrial deals in a broad range of servo drive modules and BL-D50A is one of them. The company also offers after-sales services to its local and international clients.
