The TBMS-7631-B is a powerful, direct-drive torque motor produced by Kollmorgen. The motor has been designed for weapons systems, sight stations, robot handling, UAV guidance, drone guidance, and other such systems. This model has a CE approval due to its high quality construction. A 24 V DC supply is needed to operate the motor. The motor's armature has been designed to withstand high temperatures. It has been insulated with class H insulation materials that allow the armature to sustain temperatures up to 155 ᵒC. This protects against overheating failure during extended periods of operation. The motor makes use of a low inertia rotor to achieve high acceleration rates in a very short time. On the same lines, the motor can also decelerate at a rapid pace. This capability is very important in applications where high speed reciprocating motion is needed.
