Product Description

The S61401-SE digital servoamplifier has an STO function that must be executed only after the power supply has been safely disconnected from the machine. The amplifier from Kollmorgen is one of the several devices of its type from the manufacturer in the S600 series. This product should be installed, transported and set up only by qualified personnel. Its surface tends to become very hot during use and can reach temperatures over 80°C. The device can be connected to three-phase industrial main supply networks with symmetrical earthing directly. The unit must not be used in potentially explosive areas. The servoamplifier supports a one-year warranty period and can be globally shipped to any address.

The handling brake of the digital amplifier should not be used alone in those applications where a brake helps to ensure functional safety. The exterior of the product can be cleaned only after decommissioning. The device is cULus Listed and CE Certified. The field wiring terminals have a tightening torque of 0.5Nm to 0.6Nm. The unit may render electrical high-frequency interference when it is used in non-industrial environments. It can be used with linear motors as well as asynchronous and synchronous servomotors.  The amplifier has a residual voltage drop of 5V at the rated current.

The size of the S61401-SE servo amplifier is 275 x 265mm (H x D) without connectors. The device is ventilated by forced convection using an inbuilt fan. The unit must preferably be mounted vertically. It has a maximum noise emission of 45dBA. The product features a 3-character LED display that shows the status of the servoamplifier after the 24V power supply is switched on. This device has a 33 Ohms internal brake resistor. It utilizes an integrated circuit to detect if there are one or more failing input phases.
