The RBE-03010-E00 is a frameless, brushless motor with hall sensors, designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the RBE series of motors. Like other frameless motors in the series, it was not designed with accessories such as shaft, bearings and end bells, giving a lighter, less complex motor than what is available in regular systems. Servo stiffness is also markedly improved here so that the motor responds rapidly. Because it is a brushless motor, it features brushless windings in the stationary part and field magnets in the rotating part. This gives a highly efficient device with reduced inertia and increased acceleration.
