The LSM Series Brushless Servo Motors comprise industrial brushless servo motors intended to be driven by a transistorized electronic amplifier and are not designed for direct connection to a power supply or for use with thyristor drives.
The series is offered in both 230 V and 460 V classes across multiple frame sizes, with published motor performance data used to size axes by required speed and torque. For feedback, the motors use a 17-pin encoder connector and support configurations such as a line encoder, high-resolution Sin/Cos feedback (SRS 50), or an absolute encoder (SRM 50), with temperature sensing routed through the same feedback interface. Electrical integration is based on defined power-connector sizes selected by current level (for example Size 1 < 13.5 A RMS, Size 1.5 < 44 A RMS, and Size 3 < 97 A RMS) and an optional 24 VDC holding brake where available.
