The IC Ironcore Direct Drive Motors series is a modular ironcore linear motor platform that combines ICH coil assemblies with MCH magnet ways for direct-drive linear motion.
The series is organized around coil series 11, 22, 33, and 44, with available coil and magnet-way widths of 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 250 mm, and magnet-way lengths of 64, 128, 256, and 512 mm so the motor can be scaled for different axis sizes and travel requirements. Electrical configuration options include star or delta winding, PTC or KTY thermal sensors, digital Hall sensors, and either flying leads or connector-based cable terminations for integration flexibility. The units deliver continuous force from 140 N to 402 N, peak force from 369 N to 982 N, and maximum linear speed from 5.07 m/s to 15 m/s, with attractive force values from 1.44 kN to 3.65 kN and a motor height over the magnet way of 58.3 mm. The IC Ironcore Direct Drive Motors series is intended for linear machine axes that require direct-drive force generation, modular magnet-track construction, and defined electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics for drive matching and axis design.
