The IC11015A1P1 is a direct drive linear motor from the well-known manufacturer Kollmorgen. Kollmorgen is a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation, another reputed organization in the field of life sciences and diagnostics. The manufacturer offers this iron core linear motor as part of its IC11 series of linear motors. The motor features both magnet-way and coil assemblies. It must be installed only in machines that conform to EMC Directive 2014/30/EU standards. The coil assembly comes with steel laminations. The motor features high magnetic forces.

The magnetic-way assembly must be connected to the stage through the base plate. The encoder reader head and the coil assembly are mounted on the slide component on the same plate. The motor is capable of operating at either 120VAC or 240VAC.
