The Kollmorgen EB Explosion Proof Motors series is a family of hazardous-location servo motors built for operation in certified environments, with versions carrying UL or ATEX/IECEx/ETL approvals depending on the model.
The series spans multiple frame sizes and performance classes, from smaller motors with continuous stall torque below 1 N·m to large-frame units above 40 N·m, with variants offered for 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 400 VAC, and 480 VAC systems depending on the EB or EBH family. Across the range, the motors use resolver feedback, standard IP65 protection with optional IP67 sealing, and optional holding brakes, with brake torque increasing by frame size from about 2.3 N·m on smaller models to 48 N·m on larger ones.
