This AKM motor features a flange size of 58mm, a rotor length of 3, and a C winding type. It comes with a NEMA flange, a smooth shaft, and a Comcoder with 2048 PPR. Its shaft is equipped with a shaft seal. The electrical data includes a standstill torque of 1.13Nm, standstill current of 1.41A, and a maximum 480 V AC mains voltage. It has a rated speed of 7000min-1, rated torque of 0.95Nm, and a rated power of 0.70kW.
The shaft sealing found in the AKM23C-BNBN2-01 seals against oil and mist spray which increases the protection category of the shaft bushing to IP 65. It comes equipped with angular connections for feedback signals and power supply. The class F insulation material enables it to withstand high temperature making it suitable for rigorous applications. The basic mounting position of this AKM motor is shaft end side A (IM B5). The operator can also opt for IM V3 (shaft end upward) or IM V1 (shaft end downwards). If you choose shaft end upwards, a shaft sealing should be provided to mitigate the penetration of fluids.
The temperature sensors in the AKM23C-BNBN2-01 monitor the temperature to avoid thermal overload. Only a trained person should transport, install, and operate the motor. This is in a bid to mitigate fatal injuries and machine damage. Aim to use backlash-free, frictionally-locking coupling from recommended manufacturers. You should not apply axial load o the AKM23C-BNBN2-01 since it significantly reduces its lifespan. Avoid touching any part immediately after switching off since it gets too hot.
