The AKD-P00606-NBEI-0000 Kollmorgen position indexer servo drive must be strictly used only in industrial environments. The drive has plug-and-play compatibility with Kollmorgen motors. The unit features a distinct full frequency, wizard-based autotuning process. The drive is easy to use with advanced autotuning functionality. The drive must be installed only in an industrial or electrical plant that follows the requirements of the regional directives. Care should be taken when transporting the device; it must be free of shocks. The drive must be touched only after electrostatically discharging oneself. The unit should be mounted only in vertical position. The servo drive should be properly grounded before it is operated. The product must have unimpeded ventilation and the operation should take place in the ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C. The unit comes with a mounting plate for the grounding action. The drive should be placed next to the power supply inside the closed control cabinet. For wiring purposes, only copper conductors must be used. One-phase or three-phase industrial supply networks can be supplied for the servo drive (not over 200 kA symmetrical rated current at 120 V and 240 V). Care should be taken when installing, operating, transporting, and servicing the servo drive. The site of installation should be free from conductive or corrosive materials. If the amplifier or the motors is not EMC-grounded properly, there is a risk of electrical shock. Non-conductive mounting plates must not be used. Under unfavorable conditions, a copper mesh tape must be used between the earthing bolts and earth potential in order to deflect currents. When the drive gets overheated, the device will switch itself off.
