The VAM40.1 is a machine operator panel that has a preconfigured module with two machine pushbuttons. This machine operator panel can be used in commercial areas, industrial areas, and even residential areas. It only requires approval from a testing agency or authority. They are usually designed for control tasks.

The VAM40.1-PB-NA-TA-TA-VB-MA-1608-NN has a type 1 protection, IP54 protection and a class 1 protection class that determines its enclosure protective capacity. Its dimension is designed at 407mm X 169mm X 102mm and the mounting cut-out dimension is 375mm X 137mm. A chemical resistant polyester foil with varnished aluminium is the main component of the front panel, and it is used to create a barrier that prevents the migration of moisture and certain gases. It is electrically isolated to prevent the electric circuit of this panel from damage that can be caused when under fault conditions.  Its integrated reverse voltage protection helps in protecting the panel in case of electrical breach.
