The Bosch Rexroth Indramat PPC-R02.2N-N-NN-P2-NN-FW controller measures 83.7 mm x 192 mm x 150 mm and weighs 1.3 kg. It has an IP20 protection category. The operating ambient temperature of this module ranges from 0 °C to + 45 °C with a relative humidity tolerance of 10 % to 95 % without condensation. For transport and storage, it withstands pressures from 70 to 106 kPa and humidity levels between 5 % and 95 %. The power supply for this unit operates at a rated value of 24 VDC with a permissible range of 19.2 to 30 VDC. The power supply accommodates a ± 15 % to + 20 % tolerance as per EN61131-2 1994 standards. This model’s current consumption reaches up to 1.2 A with an additional 2.3 A I/O bus supply when required. The supply cable must include a maximum 4 A time-lag fuse for 24 V and 2 A for 24 Ve.
This PPC controllers series unit’s I/O bus provides a 24 V module supply of up to 2.3 A and a 5 V module supply of up to 3.0 A with a total power limit of 52 W. This controller unit includes three digital inputs with current sinking to ground and operates within voltage ranges of 0 to 5 VDC for low input and 15 to 30 VDC for high input with a minimum input current of 10 mA. There are two digital outputs incorporated in this model. The controller also includes a lithium 3.5 V battery backup which needs replacement yearly if the optional PMM memory module and real time clock are utilized.
