The MSM041B-0300-NN-M0-CH1 is CSA and UL certified which means it can only be used in NFPA 79 applications only. Like other MSM motors, there are three mounting positions for the motor. The IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3. When mounted in position IM V3, there is a risk of fluid entering the motor enclosure which can cause damage. At times, gearboxes can be mounted on the motor.
