This ensures the motor lasts for its specified life time, especially without degrading the 30,000 hours life expectancy of its bearings. To comply with temperature specifications, the motor is protected via an auto switch-off mechanism which activates at impermissibly high operating temperatures. Like all other MKD type motors, its design is brushless, and the bearings come lubricated with a lifetime grease supply. This ensures a maintenance free operation, across a wide range of applications.
