The MKD071B-061-KP1-KS is an AC motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The motor is characterized by operational flexibility, reliability, and high overload protection; thus, it can be operated smoothly in a broad range of industrial applications such as textile, paper, and handling systems. The motor can rotate over a broad speed range from about 2000min-1 to as high as 6000min-1. The motor contains grease-lubricated bearings designed for high radial loads and allows for the direct connection of belt pulleys to the motor. All accessories connected to the motor in the servo system must be correctly configured to suit the motor's operation as a mismatch between the motor, and the configuration parameters can cause the motor to move dangerously during operation.
The leakage current generated in the servo system containing the MKD071B-061-KP1-KS motor exceeds 3.5MiliAmperes thus, the motor should be securely grounded through a copper wire with a minimum diameter of 10milimeters.
