Product Description:
The MKD071B-061-KP1-KS is a brushless AC servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MKD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes in industrial automation, where controlled current is converted into precise rotary motion for repeatable machine movement. The motor uses a B-length frame in size 071, giving it a compact footprint within the series. This motor type is commonly used where repeatable start-stop motion and accurate axis control are required on mid-range handling robots, pick-and-place gantries, and packaging drives that use a 115 mm square mounting interface.
The motor can deliver a continuous standstill torque of 8.0 Nm, which provides stable holding force for positioning tables without exceeding normal thermal limits. A flange diameter of 115 mm fits common ISO mounting patterns, and the 95 mm centering diameter helps seat the motor accurately on the machine face. An integral holding brake supplies 5 Nm of static torque to keep vertical axes in place during power loss. Position feedback is provided by resolver feedback, and the three-phase winding code 061 matches the electrical characteristics used by compatible MKD drives. Torque is transferred through a keyed shaft with a shaft seal.
System accuracy reaches ±8 angular minutes, and the absolute position function can track more than 4096 revolutions without battery support. Operation is permitted from 0–40 °C, and the enclosure is rated IP65 to resist dust and low-pressure water jets. Cables exit on Side B, which can simplify routing when drives are stacked in a cabinet or mounted close to neighboring components. The connection box keeps power and feedback termination points enclosed. The motor also uses insulation class F for normal servo duty in enclosed industrial installations.
