The MKD071B-097-KG1-BN is a digital, AC servo motor from Rexroth. This model is suitable for a variety of applications including; machine tools, handling, and automation, printing machines, packaging machines, etc. The MKD071B-097-KG1-BN is a permanent magnet type motor and electronic commutation is used for its operation. The flange size of this motor is 115 millimeter and it is designed to produce a maximum continuous torque of 8.0 Nm.
This model comes equipped with an integrated motor feedback system or encoder system. this system integrates works with the customer`s control system for motor speed or position control. The associated drive controller receives feedback about the current operating parameters of the motor and issues commands to ensure controlling in defined limits. The MKD071B-097-KG1-BN has a 22Nm holding brake as well. The brake is operated by the motor controller with 24 VDC supply and works on the “electrically releasing” principle. The availability of a holding brake ensures the safety of the system and it can be configured to get actuate through an “Emergency Stop” push button. This motor is designed to achieve a maximum speed of 2000 revolutions per minute.
The connection box of the MKD071B-097-KG1-BN motor contains terminations for; power, feedback, holding brake, and temperature sensors.
