The KCU IndraDrive Control Systems from Bosch Rexroth Indramat comprise the electronic control units used to build IndraDrive Mi distributed drive systems with KSM servo drives in industrial machines.
The KCU01 is specified for use only with compatible supply units and converters—HMV01/HMV02 or HCS02/HCS03—to form a complete DC-bus based drive package. It is powered from a 24 VDC PELV control supply and provides a 42 V control-voltage output used to supply the connected KSM drive string. System integration is organized through defined connection points for SERCOS communication, status messaging, DC bus and protective earth, and the hybrid-cable connection to the first KSM with provisions for shield bonding and strain relief. For commissioning and maintenance, the KCU provides onboard LED diagnostics for E-stop state, supply status/warnings, DC-bus presence, and drive-group communication, and it is intended for control-cabinet mounting (IP20) with specified clearances and EMC-oriented grounding/wiring practices
