The HLR01.1N-0300-N17R5-A-007-NPNN model provides protection against the basic touch but it will not provide any protection against liquids due to its IP 20 protection class. The brake resistor can work efficiently between the ambient temperature ranges of 0 to +45 ͦC. It is the lightest model having a total weight of 3 kg with a free mounting style which requires only 2 screws with 1.5 Nm tightening torque for mounting purposes. The brake resistor provides the nominal brake resistance of 17.5 Ohm with the capacity of peak power dissipation of 37 kW in the form of heat. The temperature of the brake resistor is increased by 20 K due to the continuous power dissipation of 0.3 kW. The regenerated power to be absorbed by the device is 37 kWs with a minimum allowed cycle time of 120 s.

The model HLR01.1N-0300-N17R5-A-007-NPNN is cooled by forced convection having a volumetric capacity of 200 m3/h for forced cooling.
