HDC DuraDrive Controllers

The HDC DuraDrive Controllers from Bosch Rexroth Indramat comprise a family of digital intelligent drive controllers designed as stand-alone drives for harsh ambient conditions, combining drive control, monitoring, and commissioning functions in an industrial package with IP65 protection.

The series is offered in multiple power classes (40 A, 100 A, and 200 A rated-current variants) and is intended for typical automation applications such as handling, packaging, assembly, printing, and machine tools. HDC controllers are designed for three-phase AC mains operation across a wide input range and use a separate 24 VDC control supply, with system planning built around the associated control-voltage supply and filtering components described for the DuraDrive family. For machine integration and networking, the platform supports a range of communication interfaces—including SERCOS, PROFIBUS-DP, InterBus, CANopen, and DeviceNet—alongside serial service connectivity. Feedback and motion support are designed around two encoder inputs that accept multiple measuring-system types (including digital servo feedback, resolver variants, sine/cos incremental systems, EnDat, and other encoder signal formats), enabling use with several Rexroth motor families depending on the configured system.
