Product Description

Bosch Rexroth is proficient in building electrical drive control units that can be easily used by people that have no knowledge of engineering, but need some form of automation to carry out tasks in an industrial business setting.

The HCS04.2E-W0790 makes use of converters that are built specifically for both motive and regenerative operation of motors in the directions of rotation and power flow. Through an external breaking resistor, they can dissipate the kinetic energy that has been generated. This control drive part has options for its power circuit that are for control, operation and mechanical options. The HCS04.2E-W0790 makes use of a converter that has radio interference filters integrated into it in conformity with the EN 61800-3 and the EN 50178. The converter also makes use of longer motor cables that can be easily used in residential areas though these longer motor cables have to be used in conjunction with an output motor filter.

The HCS04.2E-W0790 under the mains voltage and switching frequency of 3AC 400 V and fs = 4 KHz has a typical motor power of about 250/200 KW, the Continuous current Icont of 459/387 A, the Maximum current Ipeakin 60s of 551/581 A. The mains input continuous current is 418/340 A while the Mains connection voltage is usually calculated with 3 AC 380 … 480 ( + 10% - 15%) // 50/60 Hz ± 5% for the TT, TN and IT mains and its efficiency is greater than 97.7%. The HCS04.2E-W0790 also has a braking resistor for rapid deceleration, an energy supply from a DC bar as an alternative the 3AC mains supply and a mains choke option for the mains side reduction of current harmonics caused by the DC buses. It can also be used as an alternative to the HLL option.
