Product Description:
The DKS01.2-W100A-DS68-50-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. This module supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous servomotors and exchanges motion commands with higher-level controllers, making it suitable for positioning tables, pick-and-place axes, and other automated machinery. It combines power conversion, feedback processing, and brake control in one housing, which reduces panel space and simplifies wiring. Feedback signals are processed inside the drive so the power stage can correct speed and position errors during motion. The unit is intended for coordinated axis applications that require controlled acceleration, deceleration, and repeatable motor response.
The drive uses a 3 x 230 V AC three-phase input and has a continuous line draw of 100 A. Inside, rectifiers create a 300 V DC link, and a 4 kHz PWM stage forms precisely timed motor pulses for servo operation. This switching method helps the inverter deliver smooth current control while keeping maximum power loss to 480 W. A braking resistor channel absorbs regenerative energy with a peak of 18 kW. Command and logic circuits are supplied by a 24 V DC/625 mA control input, and the open-frame design dissipates heat through the enclosure surfaces. The noise emission is standard, and full output is available up to 45 °C before current is progressively derated to the 55 °C limit.
A status relay with a 24 V DC, 1 A contact provides ready or fault indication to external safety relays. During extended deceleration cycles, the internal bleeder dissipates surplus energy at 0.5 kW, and motor leads can carry up to 28 A without tripping the drive. Installation cable runs can reach 75 m when ferrite filtering and shielding guidelines are followed. These measures help reduce interference on longer motor cable routes and support stable signal transmission. The enclosure meets IP10 for basic finger protection.
