A protection class of IP10 limits the drive to clean electrical enclosures, and dedicated heat-sink channels support thermal dissipation during operation. Because of this enclosure class, the unit is intended for installation inside a protected control cabinet rather than on exposed machine surfaces. The resolver feedback also helps maintain position integrity at low speed, even when motor cogging is present.
