The Rexroth Indramat DKR02.1-W200Z-BE43-01-FW is an advanced drive controller. It has a modular architecture with five slots: two of the slots are dedicated for a software module and a command communication module, and three are available for plug-in modules. Slot U1 on the basic unit of the controller is reserved for the command communication interface, which for the case of the DKR02.1-W200Z-BE43-01-FW is SERCOS. Slot U5 on the drive is reserved for the firmware module which is used to store the firmware and the operating parameters of the drive. The nominal data for the drive are valid for installation elevations ranging from 0 to 1000 meters above sea level and ambient temperatures ranging from 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The load capacity needs to be considered if a customer wants to use the drive under different ambient conditions.

The drive power data are reduced by the load capacity. Rexroth does allow operation of the DKR02.1-W200Z-BE43-01-FW at temperatures of up to a maximum of 55 degrees Celsius and / or maximum installation elevation of 5000 meters above sea level. The DKR02.1-W200Z-BE43- 01-FW comes with an integrated blower for cooling. It also supports digital servo and resolver feedback. Input rating of the DKR02.1-W200Z-BE43-01-FW is three phase 400 to 480 Volts AC. The output current rating is 200 Amps. The continuous output ratings are 120 Amps at 4 kilohertz and 95 Amps at 8 kilohertz switching frequency. The IP 20 rated drive enclosure is designed for installation inside IP 54 rated switch cabinet. The operating drive dissipates 1600 Watt as heat during operation. The switch cabinet should have dust filters at air entry and exit points, and these filters should be cleaned regularly to prevent accumulation of dust.
