The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.3C-S3-ENS-MA1-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. It is one of the primary components that make up an IndraDrive controller. The control section is a modular device. The firmware for the unit can be selected from a number of different firmware that are developed by Bosch. A wide range of optional hardware modules are also available and can be selected to match the customer requirements. Three optional hardware modules are installed on the CSH01.3C-S3-ENS-MA1-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW. These include one analog I/O extension module, one cross communication module and one encoder IndraDyn module. The analog I/O extension module is used to enhance the number of analog I/O on the device. It supports two differential analog input channels and two analog output channels. These input and output channels are rated for ±10 Volts and support 12-bit resolution.

The analog I/O module has a D-sub 15-pin female interface. Stranded copper wire with 0.08 to 0.5 mm² cross-section area is recommended for use with the module. Master communication options for CSH01.3 devices include CANopen, MultiEthernet, Profibus, parallel interface, SERCOS III and SERCOS. The master communication interface available on the CSH01.3C-S3-ENS-MA1-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is SERCOS III. SERCOS III is the Ethernet-based version of SERCOS 2 and its interface corresponds to the IEEE 802.3 standard. This module is used as a slave for cross communication. The interface supports 100 Mbps data transfer rates. Ready-made cables of 100 meters and 0.55 meters lengths are available for use with the interface. The CSH01.3C-S3-ENS-MA1-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW works only with a standard control panel. The firmware for the CSH01.3C-S3-ENS-MA1-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is ordered separately from the hardware. Only trained and qualified personnel should handle and operate the control section and associated equipment.
