The IndraDrive Controller by Rexroth Bosch Group is based on two important components - the control section and the power section. Like other components and devices, the control sections have also gone through several changes over the years. Now, the latest drive controllers feature advanced control sections, like CSH01.1C, CSH01.2C and CSH01.3C etc.  

The part number CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW control section belongs to the first version (CSH01.1C) of the advanced family. In general, the control section offers single-axis control like other control section models by Rexroth Indramat. Moreover, the module can be configured and integrated with different functions and devices. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW advanced control section follows standard design 1. The control section offers SERCOS interface as a master communication. The SERCOS interface is by far the best communication module used by many motion control devices. Furthermore, the control section by Rexroth Indramat Group offers a couple of options for high-accuracy performance. There is an IndraDyn Encoder (ENS) at the X4 terminal, coupled with EnDat2.1 Encoder at X8 terminal. The X10 terminal is left vacant to connect I/O devices or extra encoder as per client’s requirement.

Since CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW features IndraDyn Hiperface Encoder as option 1, there is SIL2/cat 3. PL d Safe Motion especially given as a safety option. The control section by Rexroth Indramat Bosh features a standard control panel. The firmware should be ordered separately as CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW doesn’t have a built-in firmware. Finally, the module comes with a 1-year warranty.
