All components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth are state-of-the-art devices built to ensure high efficiency. The drive controllers in the drive system have two essential parts: the control section and the power section. These control sections differ based on their configurability, interfaces, and switching frequencies; those in the CSH family support operations with high demands in performance and dynamics.
The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section of the CSH series in Bosch Rexroth’s ADVANCED control section range. It has a compact size that supports its simple mounting within the power section of its drive controller. However, it should not be mounted and dismounted more than 20 times. It has a standard encoder evaluation interface for different encoders, including the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface. These encoders have a supply voltage of 12V, and the connection point of the interface is the D-sub type with 15 poles.
A master cross-communication module is present in the CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW. It corresponds to the standard IEEE 802.3 and comes with LED display elements that provide information on its operating status. With the Safety Technology I/O module on the control section, its safe operation is guaranteed. Some of the application-related functions that are supported with the safety option are safety-related standstill, safety-related reduced speed, and safety-related direction of motion. Like other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, this CSH model is a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3. Hence, it is best suited for use in industrial areas.
