The connection point X4.2 is dedicated for encoders with a supply voltage of 5V including sin-cos encoder 1 Vpp (EnDat 2.1), 5V-TTL square wave encoder. The model comes with a warranty from Wake Industrial. However, it should be protected with a protective diode to prevent damage from the wrong connection of the power supply.
